Maybe I would like to live in the desert. People ask me, what would you bring if you were stranded in a hot, sandy, desolate desert? Nothing. Maybe I'd just like to be a gila monster or a fennec fox, making a living in the scorching hot desert. It doesn't seem like a great place to live, but living in an expanse of golden sand and rocks and other amazing creatures seems nice. If I were a lizard, lying in the sun, my gray-green belly facing the corona, I'd be happy. I'd like to be a little fox, flopped on my side in between two rocks, catching the lizards and the small animals for snacks. And when it got cold at night, I'd wrap my furry tail around my nose to keep it warm. A struggle to survive even, would be a nice thing to have, when your life in the city is such a bore. Going to school is futile, it's not going to give me anything to remember throughout my life. I repeat all my days, the same exact thing, school, have no friends, eat, sleep. I just want to be an animal in the desert, no matter the challenges. Even if it was only for a year, a month, a week, day, an hour, I think I'd be content with that.
