I liked him. We were good friends. But sometimes things just dont go your way. The stupid system and their stupid rules. Being bad at exams doesnt mean that you're not a smart kid, it just means that you dislike studying. Actually, what is the point of studying? Most of the things that are actually useful are learnt outside of school. Soft skills like social, interpersonal relations, or time management. The common argument is that school is a way to hone these skills, and that the exam scores are an indicator of these skills. If so, why aren't we focusing our resources on improving these skills. Instead, we are wasting resources on beating the system. A system we created. This system sucks. I think that it would be better if they had a clearer idea of what do students truly need. Definitely not straight As thats for sure. I think that being smart is just not about scoring well in a test. Being smart is actually a decision making skill. Being able to make good, well-thought out decisions. Or rather, the awareness of the need to make good decisions. I hope that people can understand this.
